Ellen Hess

Directed and danced in several hundred professional shows including corporate events and industrials. Performed and directed weekly dance segments on TV 29 "De Todo Un Poco" and TV 52 "Variadisimo". Directed opening dance numbers and entertainment segments for Miss Texas Teen Pageants and Miss Calendar Model Competition. Direct UBL Wranglers Minor League Professional Basketball League Dance and Cheer Teams and the Southlake Pirates Arena Football Club Dance Teams. Direct Half-Time Entertainment for Games. Directed Texas Heat Cheerleaders and DFW Diesel Dancers both Minor League Professional Football Teams.Performed as backup dancer to several bands including Mirror Image, Sassy, and Dave Tapley bands. Past member of Ballet Jeunesse. Developed educational presentations utilizing dance visuals that is performed for many schools and charitable organizations. Coached youth dance teams for private schools and independent programs resulting in numerous awards. Hosted dance and fitness competitions at the University of North Texas and the University of Dallas. A Certified Fitness Instructor with Cooper Institute of Research, past host of weekly televised fitness segments, presenter on Bally's Aerobic Demo Team, Silver Medal Winner/American Aerobics Association, Gold Medal Winner/Southern Region/US National Aerobic Championships, and Bronze Medal Winner/LA Open/USNAC (an ESPN Event).

Christine Leon

Several years instructing junior dance teams and classes in camps and workshops with Events in Motion. Assists in setting up events and provides company marketing support. Technically trained in Jazz, Hip Hop, Pom and performs at numerous professional dance presentations with "Millennium Dancers." Current Arizona Cardinals Cheerleader, danced with the "Sunsationals" who performed at all Phoenix Suns NBA Home Games, Arizona State University Cheerleader. All Star Cheerleading background including Cheer Athletics, Club Cheer, Nolan HS Varsity, won several National Cheerleading Titles, received Cheerleader of the Year award. Modeling background includes American Cheerleader Magazine, NCA Catalog Model, Kaepa Catalog Model, Dillards, Body Talk, Dallas Dancewear and many more. Certified Fitness Instructor with AFAA, performed at the ESPN's US National Aerobic Championships, won several medals at the American Aerobics Association Competitions. Provides ongoing support of many charities to include St. Luke's Hospital, Arlington Life Shelter, HeartStone Assisted Living, Arlington Food Bank, Fort Worth Library, and many Events in Motion charity functions.

Arianna Thompson

Trained in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Step and Lyrical Dance. Several years of experience coaching competition teams, Instructor with The Dance Centre of Arlington and Events in Motion Teams. Dances professional with Events in Motion's "Millennium Dancers" for over four years to include backup dancing, theme shows, variety shows, high energy shows, corporate events, festivals and more. Brahma Dancer, Texas Heat Dancer, Diesel Dancer and several other Sports Teams presentations. Arianna is currently coaching with Events in Motion teams to include Southlake Pirates and UBL Wranglers.

Melissa Pena

Holds a BA in Dance with a minor in Spanish from the University of North Texas. Instructed all levels from age three to adult. Proficient in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, and Pom and currently instructing for Events in Motion. Choreographed and coached Dance Ensembles for both recitals and competitions including Showtime International and Marching Auxiliaries Competitions. Also Dance Instructor for Diana Rendon's Dance Academy and The Dance Centre of Arlington. Danced with "Millennium Dancers" in numerous professional presentations. Performed High Energy Shows, Variety Shows, Theme Show, Backup Dancer Events and performed at numerous Sports Events. Melissa is also our music and video editor and coordinator.

Candace Lewis

Experience teaching beginner to intermediate dancers ages 4-18 including instructing drill teams. Choreographer of cheer, modern, pom, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, novelty/prop/production, and kick. Won best choreography and most creative choreography for team modern. All American Dancer from MA, and MA Honor Roll. Technical training in jazz from the University of North Texas. Earning a BA in Communications Studies. Currently dancing and instructing with Events in Motion "Millennium Dancers" including festivals, corporate shows, sports half-time shows and more.

Joi Hawkins

Joi is a Choreographer for Events in Motion Teams and Shows. She was trained in Improv and Composition from the University of North Texas Dance Department. She was Lead Choreographer for Tha Ruckus Dance Company at UNT and Dryve Dance Company. Her background includes experience choreographing in many genres and for different age groups. She did choreography for the Cedar Hill Highsteppers Drill Team and they won First Place in Hip Hop at the 2009 National Competition. Joi has choreographed and danced with Events in Motion for several years and is currently a Choreographer for our Sports Dance Teams and the Millennium Dancers.

Jana Edele

Jana is a choreographer for Events in Motion. Jana’s career in the performance arts has expanded over 15 years, and includes work in theater, commercial, film, TV, concert, video, corporate/industrial shows as a dancer, actor, choreographer, director, writer, producer, and instructor. She has worked as an assistant in the dance and theater departments of MVC, and as a production assistant for Freestyle Productions in Las Vegas. She has worked as a choreographer and instructor in DFW, Austin, and LA. As the artistic director of the Velvet Kittens of Le Cabaret Burlesque, Jana combines her love and passion of dance and performance with years of professional experience as performer/choreographer/director to re-create the lost genres of live theatrical variety shows. Jana has danced, choreographed, and coached for Events in Motion for over a decade and currently choreographs for professional events, sports, and performance teams.

Jessica Pallett

Jessica is trained and has coached and choreographed youth teams in jazz, pom, kick, hip-hop, lyrical, modern, and cheer for over 10 years. Her competition teams have won state and national championships from MA, Showtime, and ADTS. She currently instructs with IGCA Cheer and Dance, Events in Motion’s Sr. Lone Star Dancers and Millennium Cheer.

Gailyn Bysbee

Gailyn is the Events in Motion Photographer and has been interested in photography since she started high school. This passion is something that has always kept her going. Photography to Gailyn is a visual gateway into the world and the people in it. She will major in photography while attending college. She was born and raised in Texas and is a fan of catching culture and activity such as dance! I really love working with people as well! Photography is Gailyn's life.

Shirley Thompson

As Event Manager for Events in Motion, Shirley provides performance management for events to include event music coordination, announcements, Sponsor and other PR logistics and more. Shirley's advice is "Just Do It" and "Practice, Practice, Practice." She loves to see routines come together.
